How to use: A helpful instruction booklet was included with plenty of safety information to guide you through the set up. It’s super thorough and even gives you hints and tips throughout, as well as providing links to online Cosori communities which was a lovely touch, encouraging you to share recipes and pictures of what you cook.
As well as this there was a QR code to make it really easy to find and purchase any extra accessories you may need.
It also came with a cookbook with loads of recipes and access to a free recipe app where new recipes are added weekly.
You are able to customise the cooking time and temperature manually, or use one of the 11 pre-set buttons with a default time and temp. These are so handy and cover everything from bacon, vegetables, and frozen foods to make sure you get the best results possible from whatever you cook. It even has a button for baking bread in just 8 minutes!
Some of the pre-sets give you a reminder to shake the food half way through cooking which it recommends for vegetables and French fries. I loved this feature as I rarely remember to do that!
Preheating is recommended with this model and a handy chart is included in the instruction booklet. There is a pre-heat button on the control screen as well as a setting for keeping your food warm for a default time of 5 minutes.
Once finished cooking, the air fryer beeps 3 times and it was loud enough for me to hear it from a different room. You then use the handle to pull out the drawer and can lift up the inner basket. The handle stays attached and the oil/fat stays at the bottom, so you are able to get your food out pretty easily compared to other air fryers I have used.
Taste test: I cooked my bacon first, testing out the bacon pre-set (160 degrees for 8 minutes). It doesn’t recommend shaking half way through, so it was very quick and easy. The fat ran off the bacon and collected at the bottom of the fryer so breakfast definitely felt a lot healthier. I did find I needed to put them back on for a little longer to get the crispiness I like.
The square basket made it really easy to lay out the sausages and I was able to squeeze a lot in, much more than the rounded air fryers. There isn’t a sausage pre-set so I tried coking these on manual, which worked a treat.
My sausages cooked perfectly crispy on the outside and only took 15 minutes. It worked just as well for frozen vegetarian sausages which I threw in alongside the others.
Should you buy it: The air fryer has managed to cook everything I’ve thrown at it and is super easy to clean, so definitely stands up to everyday wear and tear.
It comes with a 2-year warranty upon registration of the product.
It feels reasonably priced for the size and the amount of food you can cook at once.
