Whenever Emma Bridgewater releases a new range, we rush to add our favourite items to our payday wish list. So we were excited to discover their brand new early summer collection, available now.
The early summer collection is inspired by the quintessential sights of a British summer - strawberries, sunflowers, butterflies and even bugs! There's even a collaboration with the iconic American water bottle brand Chilly's to create some seriously stylish on-the-go flasks.
Plus, you've got kids in your life who just love those colourful Emma Bridgewater patterns but who you'd rather not trust with your ceramics, you'll want to check out the new Melamine collection. The range of child-friendly plates, cups and bowls feature familiar Emma Bridgewater designs like stars, hearts and flowers, but with all items made of a lightweight melamine/bamboo blend.
Read on for our favourite items from the range - don't forget to check out our highlights from the spring and autumn collections, too!

Emma Bridgewater early summer 2021 collection: the highlights
Vegetable Garden Strawberries Medium Jam Jar With Lid, £29.95
The sight of fresh strawberries ripening in the fields is one of the classic images of British summertime, which is why we love this strawberry-themed jam jar. Perfect for storing little kitchen odds and ends, or as a summery cutlery pot for an outdoor lunch.
Butterflies & Bugs Insulated Bottle, £25
Chilly's bottles are a ubiquitous sight these days, with many us relying on the American brand's insulated steel bottles for cool drinking water cool on the go - or even to keep a warm flask of coffee available at all times! So we're thrilled to see this partnership with Emma Bridgewater to create a line of the iconic bottles decorated with instantly recognisable Emma Bridgewater designs. We're partial to the butterflies (above), but you can also find ladybirds and bumblebees.
Flowers Sunflowers Tall Straight Jug, £69.95
Fingers crossed we'll see enough sunny days this year to let our sunflowers grow to glorious heights - but even if that doesn't quite pan out, you can still enjoy this sunflower jug. This would make for a pretty little carafe, or a handy vase for any wildflowers you gather on your summer wanderings.
Starry Skies Bamboo Melamine Bowl, £10
Emma Bridgewater's bright and bold patterns are so appealing to young children, it makes perfect sense for the brand to launch a range in a more child-friendly material than heavy, fragile ceramics. Enter the melamine range, made of lightweight, easy-clean blend of bamboo and melamine. It also makes for ideal picnic crockery!
Vegetable Garden Apples Set of 3 Square Cake Tins, £42
We know it's not strictly summery - unless you enjoy very tart apples - but the new Vegetable Garden range features some absolutely stunning cake tins inspired by common British fruits: apples, plum and blackberries. Just be careful these tins don't overshadow your bakes!
Black Toast Long Wooden Serving Board, £70
Outdoor entertaining is where it's at this year, for reasons we needn't go into, and what nicer way to enjoy a sunny afternoon with guests in the garden than a sharing platter piled high with cheese, charcuterie and other delicious snacks? This serving board is the perfect way to present your buffet selection - at a generous 70cm long, it's big enough to accommodate some serious snacking.
