Give your home a luxurious makeover with creative ideas from a few famous faces! The kitchen is the heart of the home and the hub of family life, so it’s worth taking the time to get the perfect style.

If your kitchen is feeling tired and dated, then it’s time to give it a makeover – and we’re here to help. We’ve hunted down the best celebrity kitchens to help you give your home a much-needed refresh.

There’s tennis pro Serena Williams’ classic black and gold masterpiece, Lily Allen’s gorgeous English country kitchen and Kendall Jenner’s show-stopping turquoise space.

Use these designs as a starting point to create your own dream kitchen and feel like a star every time you cook!

Taylor Swift

undefined

Taylor Swift hasn’t been spending much time at home lately, as she’s been travelling the world on her Eras tour. When she’s at home in her New York apartment, she gets to unwind her elegant kitchen.

In a recent video posted by Taylor’s friend and fellow musician Gracie Abrams, we caught a glimpse of the singer’s kitchen. In the midst of the chaos (Taylor was extinguishing a fire!), we spotted beautiful white cabinets with glass windows, warm yellow tiles and a long burgundy Persian rug. Her elegant kitchen also features practical yet stylish marble countertops.

Rugs aren’t the most practical kitchen feature, as they can soak up accidental spills. If you want to add a narrow runner to your kitchen, we’d recommend choosing one that’s washable. Dark colours will hide any stains if you happen to drop anything.

It’s a classic look that’s unlikely to go out of style any time soon, so pick this look for long-lasting comfort.

Serena Williams

undefined

Former tennis player Serena Williams has joined the dark kitchens trend with her moody black and gold colour scheme.

If you’re worried about making your kitchen too dark, you can steal Serena’s style and lighten your colour scheme with a white and gold geometric tile splashback. Marble countertops also help to brighten the space with strip lighting under the cupboards so that you can see what you’re cooking.

Serena has a large kitchen island, which is perfect for a busy family home!

Cameron Diaz

undefined

For a lighter take on the marble kitchens look, steal inspiration from Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz’s Californian pad.

White walls and wooden kitchen cabinets warm the space and prevent it from feeling too chilly. The wooden flooring also makes the room feel natural and inviting.

Gold fixtures help to tie the design together and add a touch of elegance to the kitchen. You’ll notice gold light fittings and a gold accent on the oven hood.

This light kitchen has a really contemporary feel and would be perfect for a smaller kitchen, as it would make the room feel more spacious. It would be an easy style to replicate in your own home, no matter how big or small your kitchen is.

Lily Allen and David Harbour

British singer Lily Allen married Stranger Things star David Harbour in 2021 and the couple have settled in New York. The pair quickly set about turning their home into a cosy haven in the heart of the city.

While Lily has left the UK behind, her kitchen still has a distinctly English vibe. The kitchen cabinets were sourced from Plain English Design, giving the room a soft Cottagecore mood. The gingham curtains wrapped around the kitchen island add to the cosiness.

The exposed shelves enhance the rustic feel of the kitchen, as all of the tableware, pots and pans are on full display. This is not a good option for untidy cooks, as any mess or clutter will be on full display.

The kitchen might feel English, but if you look more closely there’s an Italian influence too. Brooklyn, where the couple live, is an old Italian neighbourhood and they wanted to incorporate that into their decor.

The room also features a chandelier, which they chose to complement the original plaster moulding on the ceiling.

Stanley Tucci

undefined

Actor Stanley Tucci is a well-known foodie who has written cookery books and even presented his own TV series, Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy.

It’s not surprising that keen cook Stanley has a spectacular kitchen in his London home, which he shares with his children and his wife Felicity Blunt (sister of Emily Blunt).

Stanley has a Shaker-style kitchen decked out in grey and white. The grey cabinets have practical brass handles with marble counters. The white Mediterranean-style floor tiles are a nod to Stanley’s Italian heritage.

The pans are kept on display on a floating shelf with strip lighting underneath: easily accessible when Stanley is at work in the kitchen.

This is a fantastic neutral kitchen design that’s made for a family home. It’s clearly a well-used space, rather than a lifeless show kitchen. It’s easy to imagine Stanley cooking up a storm every night in this welcoming room.

Kendall Jenner

Model and influencer Kendall Jenner’s kitchen is the most searched for celebrity style online, and it’s easy to see why. The dark forest green cupboards add a splash of colour without overwhelming the space.

A black-topped kitchen island is the focal point of the room, surrounded by rattan stools. Lustrous copper pans hang from hooks above the island, which makes a real feature out of everyday cookware. The metallic pans match perfectly with the dark backdrop. The splashback is on-trend marble and gold fixtures complete the luxe look.

One of Kendall’s favourite features is the ‘pot-filler’ faucet behind the stove, as she’s a woman who likes her tea!

RuPaul

American drag queen and TV presenter RuPaul Charles showed Architectural Digest around his fabulous Beverley Hills home.

RuPaul shared what he loved about the space, including his French La Cornue cooker in orange (his favourite colour) and the 1930s-inspired hexagon light fittings.

Much of the design is in black and white – a theme that’s continued in the rest of the mansion.

The kitchen floors are painted and stained in black and white. “It just makes me happy,” RuPaul says. “If you can’t be happy in your own home, how the hell are you going to be happy anywhere else?”

Selena Gomez

undefined

Singer, actress and cookery show presenter Selena Gomez has a kitchen that any keen cook would love. It’s light and spacious with plenty of room for pots, pans and appliances.

Selena’s kitchen has an unusual feature: twin kitchen islands. This setup makes the kitchen a more versatile space – you’ve expanded your counter surfaces, so there’s room for cooking. Alternatively, you could use one as a dedicated breakfast bar and keep the other for all of your cooking needs.

Jennifer Aniston

undefined

Jennifer Aniston’s kitchen has a chic Scandinavian vibe with light wood cupboards. The dark counters blend seamlessly with the matching splashback for a harmonious look. A long grey carpet runs alongside the cabinets, continuing the grey theme.

Jen keeps her cookery books on the work surface within easy reach for whenever she needs inspiration!

The overall effect is very cosy and classic – it’s a style that would suit kitchens of any size and would be easy to replicate in your own home.

Victoria and David Beckham

undefined

Victoria Beckham has always been known for her impeccable sense of style and that’s reflected in the kitchen of the Beckham’s London home.

When they’re not enjoying their rural pad in The Cotswolds, the Beckhams are living it up in their glamorous townhouse in Holland Park.

The building appears to be Victorian, with wide bay windows to let in lots of light. Despite the home’s period features, the kitchen has a very contemporary style. The kitchen fittings are very tall, making the most of the room’s lofty ceiling.

The plain hardwood floors contrast with the dark cabinets and the metallic oven hood. Victoria’s made a feature of her cookware by suspending copper pans on a frame above a central kitchen island.

If you follow Friends star Courtney Cox on TikTok, you’ll often see her hanging out in the gorgeous kitchen of her Malibu home.

Her wooden slab kitchen is very on-trend at the moment with floor-to-ceiling cabinets that make full use of the available space.

In one video, we spotted that Courtney has a large wine fridge in the heart of the kitchen so that she can pick the perfect vintage to pair with dinner.

The room also features a large kitchen island and a sofa nearby so she can chat to friends and family while she cooks. It’s a relaxed and sociable space where she clearly feels at ease.

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend

US model Chrissy Teigen and her singer-songwriter husband John Legend have a spectacular home in Beverley Hills.

Their beautiful kitchen is a masterclass in creating separate zones that flow seamlessly into one another. The central marble kitchen island also serves as a breakfast bar with a stove and sink.

Next to the kitchen is a dining space with curved banquette seating around a circular table. Beyond the kitchen is a seating area with sofas.

The marble counters blend into the marble walls, with shelving that looks purely decorative (even the most passionate cook would struggle to fill them with cookbooks and appliances).

Shonda Rhimes

Shonda Rhimes is an American TV producer and screenwriter who has brought hit shows such as Bridgerton to our screens.

Shonda’s elegant apartment in Manhattan’s Upper East Side is every bit as glamorous as you would expect. While her kitchen is smaller than some of the others that we’ve featured, it makes clever use of the space.

The kitchen island doubles as a breakfast bar and tall cabinets provide a generous amount of storage space.

Here’s one of our favourite features: drinking glasses are stored in clear glass cabinets placed in front of the windows, allowing natural light to enter the kitchen while making full use of the available space. There’s no view outside the window other than a brick wall, so you’re not missing anything!

Some retro floral wallpaper adds a pop of colour to Shonda’s kitchen, while the ceiling is painted a warm buttery yellow. This is a fun way to add colour to your kitchen without it overwhelming the space.
