Whether you're dreaming of a striking feature wall or a full room makeover, well-chosen wallpaper can really bring a decor scheme together. But what style of wallpaper works best for your bedroom?
We spoke to Chelsea Clark, head of brand at I Love Wallpaper, for her top tips on what factors to consider when choosing wallpaper for a bedroom. Read her advice, and then browse our pick of the best bedroom wallpapers on the market right now, spanning from luxe designer brands like Laura Ashley and Farrow & Ball to budget-friendly high street bargains starting from as little as £10 a roll.
How to choose wallpaper for a bedroom
'When it comes to choosing a wallpaper for a bedroom, it is important to first decide on what mood you would like your bedroom to have,' says Chelsea.
'For example, if you’re looking to have a cosier feel to your room, a dark-coloured wallpaper would be the perfect choice. Soft, muted colours on the other hand can help to create a calming and soothing atmosphere.'

'Floral and nature inspired designs are a perfect addition to a bedroom, said to help create a relaxing atmosphere by bringing elements of the outdoors in.'
'When adding wallpaper to a bedroom it’s most important to consider the scale of the pattern in relation to the size of the room, for example, larger patterns will work best in bigger rooms, whereas they can overwhelm smaller spaces. A classic vertical stripe can also add interest to the room, whilst making the walls appear taller.'
